Provision has always cared about design and construction working together. Bringing interior design fully in-house is the natural next step. The result is a more complete homeowner experience: design decisions, selections, documentation, and construction planning aligned earlier, with a single team accountable for the outcome.
You can hire our interior design team independently, or as part of a fully integrated custom home or luxury renovation. Either way, the same standard of design discipline applies.
Two ways to work with us
Interior design, with or without construction.
Some homeowners come to Provision for interior design only. Others are planning a renovation or custom home and want design and construction under one team. We support both paths with the same design quality and process discipline.
Standalone interior design
You don't need to build with us to work with us.
Full-service interior design delivered to your existing builder, architect, or contractor. Space planning, finish selections, cabinetry direction, furnishings, drawings, renderings, and specification packages, documented so an outside team can execute the design intent.
Integrated design-build
Design and construction aligned from day one.
For larger renovations, custom homes, additions, and architect-led projects. Selections are made with construction realities in mind, budget conversations happen earlier, and the home that gets drawn is the home that gets built.
A more connected design experience
Design decisions are most powerful when they're set early.
Layout, ceiling heights, cabinetry walls, lighting strategy, and material palettes all influence each other. When they're decided in one conversation, the home feels considered. When they're decided in series, by separate teams, the seams show.
That's the case for bringing interior design in early, whether you hire us for design alone or for the full project. Selections made in context outperform selections made in isolation. Every time.

Space planning + layouts
Floor plans evaluated for how you actually live, with circulation, sightlines, ceiling heights, and proportion treated as design decisions in their own right.
Cabinetry + millwork design
Custom cabinetry profiles, finishes, lighting, hardware placement, built-ins, millwork details, and specialty wall treatments designed and documented to be built, not assumed.
Material + finish direction
Flooring layouts, tile patterns and installation, countertop profile and slab selection, paint schedules, stone, plumbing fixtures and accessories, lighting fixtures and placement, appliance specifications, interior doors, and trim, curated as a cohesive program.
Drawings, renderings, specifications
2D drawings, 3D renderings, photorealistic visuals, elevations, lighting and electrical plans, finish schedules, working drawings, specification packages, and a construction binder that any builder or trade can execute against.
Construction collaboration
Site visits during construction, builder, contractor, and trade coordination, and design intent questions answered in real time so the design that was drawn is the design that gets built.
Furnishings + styling
Furniture planning, procurement, art, accessories, custom window treatment design, and final layered styling for homeowners who want the home truly finished, not staged.

Heather leads our interior design practice as Director of Interior Design. Sonia supports the studio as Interior Designer. Together, they bring a body of work that already overlaps with Provision's, approximately 75,000 square feet of luxury residential collaboration with our construction team over the last two and a half years.
